The Shake Up

Well tonights tuesday and im not doing anything worth talking about so i thought id write a little update. Had a varied weekend, things started to go wrong on saturday night when a generally bad mood and headache mixed with some emotional shit id been carrying for a while seemed to enter a downward spiral resulting the "truth" coming out and the aftermath of awkwardness which usually takes place after these things. A lesson has been learned as always though, never think you understand a female.

Been going to the gym alot recently and the results are finally being shown, the weight loss i originally intended turned out to be none existent but i feel alot better and am more defined so i will definitly re-new my membership when it expires.

Still enjoying work, working with a nice team who just let me do my stuff and know the job will get done. Driving to work and back is actually quite enjoyable gives you chance to wake up and unwind in a bit of comfort without having to use public transport or as a collegue who hasnt past his driving test yet called it "peasent waggons". Quite Amusing.

Still in search of some christmas preasents but am dreading having to go shopping on a saturday and sunday before christmas, its going to be carnage and i still have no idea what to get my mum.

I built my new canvas wardrobes and cupboard on saturday making use of the time i had spare, installed them all into my room on sunday, they are slightly bigger than expected but i think i have sorted a solution which makes the maximum use of space, i guess time will tell. Its looking alot better now though its more relaxing and feels warmer, next step a mounted tv and dvd player and im laughing.

In Other News turns out the conservative party voted in its new leader today which might mean they become electable shortly! Not sure if its a good thing or not but they might help slow down some of this political correctness gone mad stuff such as calling "Christmas Carols" - "Winter Songs" in certain areas of the country. Crazy.

Right off chill and unwind before bed. God I hate Winter.

1st Day of Christmas.

Yes thats right its now the 1st day of Christmas well December at least.

Still Awake - Am at work tomorrow but for some reason im not tired today. Im still working for Chem-Dry UK in Beverley chasing up insurance claim details and discussing various queries with Insurance Companies and Franchises. Its not a bad job really and the people are all pretty laid back and relaxed. Its certainly not as boring as the Operations Centre one and its reasonably well paid which is always a bonus. Going for a meal at the molescroft inn with the team im working with at Christmas so that should be a nice trip out to get into the xmas spirit.

Whilst driving home from work today I and heard the JCB song on Radio1. This is the song ive known about since summer, it seems like they are going to keep playing it in the hope it gets to xmas number 1. Its a good song though so hopefully it will make it.

You can listen to the song at - http://www.jcbsong.co.uk/

Im actually quite surprised some of the" popular" music around at the moment isnt actually as bad as it normally is. I also heard another song called "Listen to your heart" by DHT the slow acoustic version track of this song is really good and well written. Theres something about it but thats another story.

Recent events I havent talked about, include a shopping spree where i bought some new clothes from Hornsea Freeport and eventually managed to spend the gift voucher sarah got me for my 21st in Burton on some jeans and a nice belt. I also bought a nice pair of good quality walking boots for dad for xmas, they were expensive but hes worth it and a small present for Sarah whislt i was on my travels. Whilst at the gym last night i also noticed the gym are offering 12 days memberships as christmas presents so im tempted to buy matt one to get him off his fat ass.

My Bedroom is slowly taking shape the beds in place now and all the wallpaper is done, new wardrobes and units arrive at the weekend so i can have some more fun with the flatpacks (the joy) hopefully we should have it done by christmas ive got so much "junk" i need to get rid of first though, this minimilistic malarky isnt so easy after all.

Right 1:15am i guess i better get some sleep. Another day another Doller. (or pound in this case)
